The match between FC Barcelona and Milan will be a very special one. Blaugranas and Rossoneros, two historic European clubs, will face each other this Wednesday March 28th in the first-leg at San Siro, and on Tuesday April 3rd to play the second-leg at the Camp Nou.

All football lovers will enjoy the two matches, because they will see on the pitch two strong teams with so many great players and with a lot of experience in the competition, even if there are some differences between Catalans and Italians.

Barça is the title holder (they have won 3 Champions League in the last 6 years), they have in their team the world’s best player, Messi, and a great coach and squad. Milan are now leading the Serie A (Barcelona are not leading La Liga), and have good players as the former culé Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the level of the Italian football according to UEFA is not as high as La Liga’s level so the two teams are in a different situations.

Barcelona will try to play well in the San Siro match in order to achieve at least a draw (Pep Guardiola sees it as a very complicate match). The Catalans hope to reach the Champions League final for the second consecutive year, where they could find their historic rival, Real Madrid.

Milan is not the favourite team of this play-off and for this reason they will fight hard to reach the semifinals of the top European competition.

As you can see, the quarter finals played between Barça and Milan will be very exciting, with a thrilling second-leg at the Camp Nou, so don’t miss your chance and buy your FC Barcelona vs Milan tickets!

8 teams coming from 7 different leagues. Mass media pointed it out following the draw of the Champions League. This year’s quarterfinals will be played by teams of different leagues, so there are not only teams coming from the strongest leagues. Only the Spanish Liga is represented by 2 teams, Barça and Real Madrid. Both clubs are favorite to become the best in Europe next May in Munich, together with Bayer Munich.

Reaching will probably be easier For Real Madrid and Barcelona will be probably easier to reach the final. Los Blancos will play the next stage  against the ‘cinderella’, Apoel FC, a Cypriot team that reached the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time in his history. Moreover, Mourinho’s team will play the second-leg at home, so thefans at the Bernabeu will support them in this crucial match.

Apoel has reached the European Cup quarterfinals because they have deserved it, without any help of the referees. They dream of winning the Champions League so they will visit the Santiago Bernabeu, ready for fighting against Real Madrid without fear.

Real Madrid and Apoel Nicosia will struggle to reach the top European competition semifinals, first on the 27th of March in Nicosia and then on the 4th of April at the Santiago Bernabeu. The second-leg at the Real Madrid stadium will be the most important match, in which we will probably see more goals, so don’t give it a second though: buy your Real Madrid vs Apoel tickets in Spain Tickets Online!

8 equipos, 7 ligas.

Is Messi the best football player ever?

In the second-leg match of the Champions League round of 16 between Barça and Bayer Leverkusen Leo Messi became the first player of the competition to score five goals in a match. Some people already said before this achievement that Messi is the  best player ever, but after the ‘repoker’ of goals he scored last week, the debate over whether he is the best or not has reached its high point.

The question is: Why could Messi be the best player in history?

Leo is just 24 and he has scored 228 goals in 311 games for Barcelona; and this season, he has scored 53 in just 49 games (for both his team and his country). Moreover, he has scored 17 hat-tricks for the Catalan club, and one for Argentina. And he has equaled the record for most goals in a Champions League season, 12, held by himself and Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Messi has won 3 Champions Leagues with Barcelona, something that very few players achieve, in addition to 5 Spanish leagues, 2 Club World Cups, 1 Spanish Cup and other titles. And individually, Leo has achieved 3 consecutive Ballons d’Or. The only thing that the ‘Messiah’ hasn’t  succeeded in yet is winning with his country, Argentina’s national team, and some people think that he should do this in order to become the best player in history.

Who competes with Messi as the best player ever??

Maradona: World Cup winner with Argentina in 86, in which he scored one of the best goals ever. He helped Italian team Napoli to reach the top, and always played magical football. However, he disappointed many people with his addiction to drugs.

Pelé: 1283 goals, the rest of the players are far behind him in number of goals scored. He won 3 World Cups, he is the most memorable player of old football.

Di Stefano: he played both for Argentina and Spain. Natural goal scorer and Real Madrid star, he won 5 World Cups with the Spanish club.

Cruyff: star of Ajax, he helped Barça to reach the top when the Catalans weren’t as big a club as they are nowadays. 3 times winner of the Ballon d’Or, he will always be remembered for his dribbling move.

And… ¿Do you think Messi already is or will be the best player in history?
