The Catalunya Gran Prix takes place every spring in the Circuit de Catalunya in the town of Montmeló, Barcelona. This GP is one of the four Gran Prix to be held in Spain every season.

The Circuit de Catalunya is one of the most liked by drivers: it is 4.627 meters long and has 16 turns. The circuit ends in a thrilling final straight. It has a capacity of 130,000 spectators.

Since it took place the first Moto GP race in the Circuit de Catalunya more than 20 years ago, Valentino Rossi is still ‘the king’ of the circuit with 6 victories. A part of him, a lot of drivers have amazed us with their victories and over takings, especially in the lengthy and thrilling final straight, which has been repeatedly determining the outcome of the race.
