Once the season 2011-2012 is finished and after the Barça squad has been on holidays, the team returns to train and play together in this year’s summer tour.
The tours that Barcelona have done in the last few years have taken place in Asia and America, but this summer the team will stay in Europe in order to build up strength for next season, because of the hard last year they’ve had and the Euro 2012 and the Olympic Games.
The first match of this year’s Barça pre-season will take place on the 24th of July against Hamburg in the stadium of the German team.
Just four days after the Hamburg clash (July 28th), Tito Vilanova’s team will travel to Tangier to play a friendly match against Ittihad Riadi, a team formed by some Moroccan players. The match will be played to inaugurate the new Tangier Stadium. Barça will earn €1m for playing it.
The next match of Barcelona will be played in Paris on Saturday August 4th, in which the Catalans will face Paris Saint Germain. Then, Barça will play Udinese on the 12th of August at the Camp Nou. It will be the Trofeu Joan Gamper (FC Barcelona Trophy) and that day the team will be officially presented in front of their fans in preparation for the new season.
As well as all these matches, Barça could also play against PSV or Arsenal before the Joan Gamper Trophy.

We sell tickets for all matches played by Barça at the Camp Nou, but not when they play at other stadiums. You should enter on FC Barcelona’s official website: fcbarcelona.cat. Thanks for your comment.

Hi,
Every August Barça play at least a match at the Camp Nou: the Joan Gamper Trophy (a friendly game). Barça could also play a match of La Liga but we will know it in July, when La Liga’s calendar is published.
