Copa del Rey final: Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

During a lot of years it was said that the Spanish Cup was a minor title, but this has changed in the last years. Two seasons ago Barça and Real Madrid played the final, last year Barcelona played it again but against Athletic Bilbao and this season will be the turn of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. What a match, what a final!

Both Real and Atletico are really keen to win this trophy, more interested tan other times. Atletico want to shut up those who say that they always lose when they play in front of Real (they aren’t wrong). On the other hand, Real Madrid ‘need’ to achieve a title after not succeeding in this year’s main aim: winning their 10th Champions League.

Through the years there have been various Spanish Cup finals played between the two strongest teams of the city of Madrid. However, there have been a lot years since the last time in season 1991-91. That day Atletico defeated Real by 2-0 at the Bernabeu. It would be a dream for ‘los colchoneros’ to repeat this score; also a nightmare for ‘los blancos’…

We don’t know what’s going on in the Copa del Rey final. We just know that it will be a spectacular match, with a lot of goals and played in a perfect stadium, the Santiago Bernabeu.

Don’t give it a second thought… Buy your Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid tickets NOW!

The Champions League semi-finals have already started and the results have been surprising. Barça and Madrid have been overwhelmingly defeated by German teams.

Barça arrived at the stadium of Bayern Munich aware that it would be difficult for them to achieve a good result there. In fact, there were some Barcelona fans that though that a draw or even a small defeat would be a good score for their team. But everything was worse for the Catalans. They lost by 4-0. Bayern Munich played much better so deserved to win. There were some decisions of the referee that harmed Barça but in spite of this Vilanova’s team didn’t play well.

The defeat of Madrid in front of Borussia Dortmund has been more surprising than Barça’s. Some people said that Mourinho’s team had it easy to reach the final, but we said in the last article we published that “if Borussia had get to semi-finals maybe is because they are great”. And yes, they are great. The German defeated Real with 4 goals of Lewandowski. Ronaldo score one goal for Real. They will have it difficult to reach the final, but no more than Barça.

By now the result is clear: Liga de las Estrellas 0 – 2 Bundesliga. Or the same: Spain 0 – 2 Germany.

What’s going to happen next week?

What a Champions League semi-final!

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund (Santiago Bernabeu)

FC Barcelona vs Bayern Munchen (Camp Nou)

What a month are facing all European football fans. There’re only a few days for the Champions League semi-final, but there are people who are already thinking in the final. Rightly so. This year we could see an unprecedented final… The best final: Barça vs Real Madrid!

It’s clear that in football there couldn’t be anything as exiting as a final between these two teams, especially for Spaniards. But this year it would be more exiting enough because of current’s Madrid boss is Mourinho and Barça is the same team that was commanded by Guardiola until last season.

But there’s another step before this dream become real. And what a step! Barça are facing one of the best European team this year: Bayern Munchen. The team of Vilanova will play the second-leg at home, but they can’t rely on this. They should try to do their best in both matches. If not, they’ll have it difficult to reach the final in front the strong Bayern Munchen…

Real Madrid are not in the same position as Barça. They seem to have it easier than Barcelona to reach the final. They’re facing Borussia Dortmund, a priori the less strong team of the semi-finals. It has been 11 years since Real reached their last final, so it’d be a dream for them to play it again… Do you think Madrid will win their ‘décima’ this season? Soon we will know this.

We’re facing the most exiting Champins League semi finals in the last years… Why no seeing them live?

There is still time to see Barça or Madrid at their stadiums. Book now your tickets for the semi-finals!
